The hits and visitor counts to ISpeakHindi.com have been growing steadily.  Also, I have not done much site promotion and yet the site is showing up on other people’s blogs, on dmoz.org, and several other places.  It is very exciting to think that after I get through some of the content generation, site clean up activities that I plan, then I can start working on site promotion and the traffic should really grow.

One username and password for all the sites that you use!  Wait doesn’t Microsoft do that with Passport?  Yeah, but what if you don’t trust Microsoft?

Hummm….  Well, what do you think about this scheme:  You can choose any authentication provider be it a very establish, trusted company like Verisign or a niche player like www.MyOpenId.com.  And any site that implements the OpenID protocol can use that ID.
